Principles of Building Marketing Flywheel

Many of you must be involved in building marketing flywheels for your company, hence we thought of sharing three principles of marketing.

1.Consistency is more important than quality.

You will never have the best copy, the best newsletter in the world. Hence, do not wait for that day either. Be consistent with your email campaigns, linkedin outreach, webinars. Do what is doable.

2.Less is more.

Less ICPs is good.

Less designations are good. In case you do have many decision makers to chase, separate out main decision makers from influencers. 

Perfect one marketing channel before going for the second one. For example, a newsletter can be made exclusive to emails in the beginning.

3.A/B testing is important in everything that is building marketing flywheels.

  Everything in marketing is A/B testing. Do A/B with the following to figure out:

     A/B: Is linkedin the right channel or email ?

     A/B:  is google ads or linkedin Ads the right channel ?

    A/B: Wednesday/Tuesday/Thursday afternoon for IST audience to begin with. (send in Gmass/Zoho with small batches – automated)

4.Distribute multiple times, produce one time.

   A content should be such that it can be repurposed, re-distributed. A webinar can be re-purposed in the following ways:

  1. Original Webinar
  2. Broadcast of the Recording of the webinar
  3. Divide the webinar into short clips and put on social media every month for next 6 months
  4. Take the quotes from the webinar and put them on social media for the next 6 months.

 

You can get 5 media posts from one webinar after the webinar this way.

5.Give, Give, and Give.

Keep giving to your community. Business will come to you.

How to give:

  1. Add them to a community.
  2. Share newsletters/resources.
  3. Connect them to their potential partners
  4. Put a testimonial about them on social media.
